About

A design studio built on 25 years of answers.

Paul Eric Rich, owner of BROTHERS RICH

Paul Eric Rich has spent more than 25 years in design: first in senior roles at national and regional design firms across Charleston, Baltimore, and Charlotte, now as the owner of BROTHERS RICH, based right here in Charleston.

Paul went out on his own after a career spent putting other firms' names on the letterhead, wanting to build something under his own. What's new is the name on the door, not the experience behind it. Working with BROTHERS RICH means the person you sit down with for the first conversation is the same person who develops your plan, works through the details, and stays on the project through construction. No handoffs, no junior designer standing in for the person you actually hired.

Paul works across the Lowcountry with close attention to how a house handles light, water, shade, and the view from every side, not just the front door.

What Paul brings to a project

  • 25+ years of design experience, now focused on residential work
  • A professional design degree from Florida A&M University
  • Senior-level experience at national and regional design firms before founding BROTHERS RICH
  • Direct, hands-on involvement from the first conversation through construction. No handoffs

Design background

Before BROTHERS RICH

Work Paul designed while at other firms. None of it is BROTHERS RICH's own work, and none of it is presented as such. It's here as evidence of what Paul knows how to do.
